At the time of booking, we will advise you of any preparation required for your scan. It’s important that you follow this advice.

What You Need to Bring

  • Request form from your health care provider
  • Medicare Card
  • Previous medical imaging that may be relevant to your appointment (e.g. films and CDs)
  • Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card
  • Workers Compensation or Motor Crash Compensation claim details

Arriving For Your Appointment

We recommend you arrive 15-minutes prior to your appointment (unless otherwise advised). This will allow your paperwork to be completed and reviewed before your examination.

Different examinations may have different waiting periods. it is possible that a patient who arrives after you may be seen before you.

After Your Appointment

Please book an appointment with your referring doctor to discuss your results.

Pregnancy

When booking your exam, please advise our staff if you are, or suspect you may be, pregnant.

Allergies, Medications or Medical Conditions

Before your scan, please let us know about any allergies, medications or medical conditions that may affect your examination.

Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM)

We recommend that you consider booking your CT, MRI or X-ray procedure examination at the end of your CGM life span, whilst also considering, the urgency of your referral.

Radiation Safety

Some medical imaging examinations use ionising radiation.
